Tumblestone is the most intelligent ‘match three’ game I’ve ever played

From the creators of The Bridge The first impression of a game matters a lot at PAX. If people aren’t intrigued almost immediately, they may never play the game at all. My first impression ofTumblestonewas “oh cool another match-three game.” I don’t play many of them, so I barely had any interest. However, knowing thatTumblestoneandThe Bridge, a brilliant indie puzzle game, share the same developer, I just had to give it a chance....

From odd and quirky to straight-up weird, Kojima’s games often make headlines and enter discussions for their shock factor or general silliness....

Across the Grooves explores music, existentialism, and destiny

Soundtrack of my life French developer Nova-box has announced that its next title will be the interactive dramaAcross the Grooves. Set in a universe of “magic-realism” and with a heavy emphasis on music,Across the Grooveswill follow the story of a young woman named Alice and her journey of self-discovery. It seems to be very methodical and surreal, which is certainly how I like my narratives. Featuring hand-drawn illustrations and an adaptive score,Across the Groovescould be quite the trip....

Art Attack Friday: luxun

Say hello toluxun, drawing and colorist expert! Some of the works you’ll see are all originally his. Most of the drawings however are inked by someone else while luxun does the color work. I find coloring stuff that I draw to be an utter b*tch so to have someone who is a color expert like luxun is a Godsend. While he does have a good collection of videogame themed art, his best pieces seem to be the Marvel based ones....
