Learn about objectives in another Brink trailer

It’s time for anotherBrinktrailer, folks! Like yesterday’s “Get Smart” video, this one goes over a few things that should be familiar to first-person-shooter veterans already. It’s about objectives, and how to complete them. Pretty simple. It’s out May 10 in North America and May 13 in Europe. It’s looking set to be my new online jam. Hope it plays as good as it looks, because it looks killer.

Mauga is ruining the Overwatch 2 meta, but I’m guilty of participating in it

When a new character is introduced in a game likeOverwatch 2, there’s some kind of point of contention regarding balance. Are they on the weaker side and will contribute nothing to the meta or will they shape a new meta? Well, it seems that with Mauga being introduced in Season 8, he’s in the latter, for both bad and some good. Mauga is the latest tank to join the ever-expanding roster ofOverwatch 2and he’s been a problem....

Meet the Dtoid reader that used Minecraft to help impoverished communities make a change

Newstoid, a Smash 4 guide by ZeRo, exclusive Bloodstained art, and more

Newstoid, a Smash 4 guide by ZeRo, Destructoid is a lot like Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. It may look like just another unpredictable carnival of joy and horror on the surface, but behind the scenes, there are hordes of even more wonderful, horrible things going on around the clock that are essential to keeping the show on the road. For instance, we’ve been working with our own Jed Whitaker and Dtoid’s longtime pal Jess Brohard on a weekly news program to our YouTube channel for over a month now....

Steam got ahead of the situation very early by offering a generous refund policy, but a few other marketplaces have a long way to go. Noisy much? Iron Chef America Supreme Cuisine trailer

I wrote this game off as aCooking Mamarip-off early on, but the screens and details coming out here lately slowly changed my mind. If anything, this is a “rip” of the Food Network television show, and I mean that in a good way. I’m not feeling the trailer, though. Sure, the mosaic of little screens shows off a lot of the game play, but who can tell what’s really going on here?...
