Stock jumps over 5% Netflix is looking to enter the riot business. The company announced that its most popular plan, currently $9.99, will now cost $10.99 / mo. The premium plan which allows simultaneously play on four screens (locations) will jump from $11.99 / mo. to $13.99. That’s no joke about its stock price; the company hit an all-time high after the plan was announced. No convenient graphic was available to demonstrate the impact on consumers’ wallets, but somehow I suspect the effect will be minimal....

You know that awesomeResistance 3trailer they showed at the Spike VGAs last weekend? Well, the original cut was longer than the two-minutes we were shown. But because Insmoniac Games loves ya’, they’ve put the whole thing online. Most of what was cut were live-action sequences, which Insomniac’s James Stevenson says “represents a section of the game.” That includes the dark warehouse sequence you’ll see in the beginning, possibly one of the creepiest things I’ve seen all day....

Some know him for his intricate magic systems. Others recognize him as an author reinventing the speculative genre with his unique touch. To us, however, Brandon Sanderson is simply one of this generation’s greatest storytellers. I use the word “great” but perhaps the more accurate adjective would be “prolific.” Since starting his career with the release ofElantrisin 2005, now almost two decades ago, Sanderson has written dozens of fantasy novels,most of them critically acclaimed hits, and there’s no sign of him stopping any time soon....

A chance to revisit the sadness Void Terrariumis a game that will stick with me for a very long time. It’s a rather sad affair with a bleak outlook on mankind’s future, but with a kick-ass gameplay loop that totally hooked me last year. It’s really worth a playthrough, even if I can’t guarantee you’ll be all that happy when you watch the credits roll. If you missed out on the title in 2020, NIS America is re-releasing the game next month for PlayStation 5 asVoid Terrarium++....

We believe we play a role in each of them.
