While Microsoft Studios seemed pretty confident getting behind a Xbox Live Arcade port of the indie PC hitMinecraft, at E3 last year, the publisher only signed the deal a week before the announcement. Even crazier, the graphic they made for the announcement was a rushed job made the night before....

Yeah, I know. Not that great of a name, right? I prefer the Japanese title,Cardinal Arc Portable, which is a PSP port of a PS2 game from Japan. Good name or not, this is a card-battling strategy RPG that is being localized by the American publishing arm of Japanese developer YUKE’S. This tactical RPG uses over 200 cards in head-to-head battles between demons and Dominators, the special people that can use the power of these cards....

Alienware, long known for its hulking desktops and bulky laptops, hasa new lineof customizable desktops that are designed to be svelte little LAN boxes. The X51s are pretty decently priced, offering mid-to-high performance. They range from $699 to $1150 without a monitor. The low-tier boxes carry an i3-2120 while the top-shelf packs in a Sandy Bridge i7-2600 and an nVidia GeForce 555. Not the best out there, but pretty solid for the price....

Delicious Like Chris, I had my firsttasteofOddworldwhen it wasnew, back on the PlayStation in 1997.Abe’s OddyseeandAbe’s Exodduswere two of my favorite titles from that era, so whenOddworld: New ‘n’ Tastywas announced, I was pretty stoked to revisit the adventure through RuptureFarms and the surrounding areas. To my chagrin, the PC version would not launch for many months after the PlayStation 4 version. At the very least, the wait is justified;New ‘n’ Tastyruns beautifully on my aging computer, and it features some of the bells and whistles that come with a Steam release too....
