Battleborn’s 29th hero is some punk kid in a mech suit

Youths! Ernest releases todayforBattleborn‘s early access users, and already we have a glimpse into the future. The 29th hero to be released “in the next couple months” is Kid Ultra, that smarmy-looking youth you see up there in the header image. I already hate him, and I don’t really know why. Something about smiling children is deeply upsetting to me. It sounds like Kid Ultra is another support character, bringing the total up to six or seven (depending on whether you count Ernest as a support — I’m still not sure about that)....

Boot up your copies of the Doom retro re-releases for some free Doom Zero DLC

DoomandDoom IIwill never die. I can confirm this, as I recently finished the sequel on Switch for the billionth time. It’s one of the few games where it’s kind of a given that it’s going to be re-released over and over, especially if a bunch of old school lost levels from id Software and the community are proliferated throughout time. That’s the sort of gaming history you don’t want to lose on an errant floppy disc in a cardboard box somewhere....
