Pre-orders open tomorrow morning Microsoft has announced the latest iterations of its tablets —the Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2— and they’re launching May 17, 2025 for $449 and $899, respectively. The devices will debut in 22 markets including the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom. Pre-orders open tomorrow morning at 8:00am Eastern. What’s new? Shadow of the Colossus influence still apparent When wefirst sawFossil Echoearlier this year, all we really had to go on was its sharp cartoon art style and a list of influences:Shadow of the Colossus, Studio Ghibli films, andOddworld. Some of those influences were apparent; the main character design looks like a direct homage to Wander fromShadow of the Colossus, and the eerie environments do evoke Miyazaki in a way. The “election” in the game occurs in a theme park among 12 trapped people who will campaign for one another’s death. Like many Japanese games, this visual novel will feature anime characters including a mascot named Alice which is that demonic rabbit-looking thing on the left page....

Now, Capcom is taking another shot by putting outKabu Toreida Shunji, a game where you play as…a stock trader! (Stock Trader Instantis the literal translation of the title)According to the announcement, you play the game as a young stock trader who is being lead by a mentor. The game has you competing against a rival over a period of several months to try and outdo them in the stock trades....
