We’ve seen a lot of great indie developers propose fun reinventions of classic Nintendo franchises lately. Thesports-action Daisy title imagined Konjaklooks amazing, as does the concept for a newWario Landgame by Snakepixel.
None of those mock-ups actually move though. At least, not yet. For now we’ll have to be content with seeing this little GBA-styleKid Icarusgame mock-up video in motion. It even stays true to the originalUprising, complete with running dialogue between Pit and Palutena across the bottom of the screen. This bit of fan art comes to us care ofDavitsu, who also has some great low-resSmash Bros. dot art up on their tumblr.
Davitsu works forRantan Games, a company that I had never heard of until now. Some of their titles includeCats OuternetandGive me that: TURBO!. Even if they don’t turn out to be much, I feel like I am a better person just for knowing that there are videogames with those names out there in the world.
