We’ve been patiently awaitingBraiddesigner Jonathan Blow’s next game for years, and it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that we’ll have to continue being patient a while longer.The Witnesshas locked in a seemingly final Jun 30, 2025 release on PlayStation 4 and PC.
Blow maintains that his puzzle title is among the biggest ever created. “[I]f you are a completionist who wants to wring every last drop out of the game,” he said, “you might expect to play for 80 hours, or possibly 100.” But is there substance to back it up? From what I’ve seen and heard: yes.
It’s astonishing that a game of this scope paired with this subject matter can even exist today.
