Killing Floor 3might seem like a simple shooter at first, where you just chop down the zeds, but there’s a strong emphasis on strategy, and especially so at the higher difficulty settings.
Not every zed inside the game is easy to take down, and more so if you’re playing alone. Thankfully, all the creatures have specific weaknesses that you may exploit and take advantage of. If you’re struggling with the higher difficulties, here are some tips and tricks to follow for you and your friends.

Best Killing Floor 3 tips and tricks to win more games
Killing Floor 3isn’t a competitive shooter, and it emphasizes this point pretty heavily. There are six Perks available at launch, and you’ll have to focus on squad balance. This might not be too important in normal difficulty. At higher difficulty settings, you’ll have to pick a balanced squad (with at least two support roles).
But having a balanced squad is just the tip of the iceberg, and there are more factors to keep in mind.

Aim High
Every zed hasweak parts. Interestingly, stronger zeds tend to have more weak spots, but they also have higher HP totals. Interestingly, all 15 zeds have one common weakness: the Head. Try to aim high and get as many headshots as possible. Of course, some weapons are better suited for this task. In a nutshell, aiming high and shooting the zeds in the head will lead to significantly better results.
Don’t spend everything
As you eliminate more zeds and earn Dosh, it might seem you will never run out of it. However, Dosh is finite, and your upgrades depend on it. Assuming you’re playing at Normal difficulty, don’t spend any Dosh in the first couple of rounds. For the third, just fill your ammo reserve and fill your armor. Your investments in weapons should begin from round 4 onwards. If you’ve a surplus, make sure to send a few along the way to your teammates.
Learn the map
Some spots on all the maps offer better choke points that raise your survival chances. Zeds tend to corner you from all sides. Try to be in a spot where at least a couple of directions are closed. However, such areas will also have less space for you to escape from, so keep this point in mind as well.
Invest in your skills smartly
As you level up a Perk, you gain Proficiency points. These points can then be used to unlock new skills. You can’t unlock all skills associated with any Perk, which automatically makes it important to be judicious. Understand the role you want to play with a Perk, and unlock skills that magnify that. For example, it’s better to unlock skills that improve your healing potential if you’re playing as aMedic.
