It’s a new IP after all
I can appreciate that Blizzard doesn’t go into anything half-cocked. I mean, look atTitanfall. It’s a great shooter with well-crafted mechanics, but who gives a shit about that world and the characters in it? I couldn’t recall anyone important if you paid me.
But withOverwatch, Blizzard’s first new IP in a while, they’re handling it differently. Not only is there a ton of art to flesh out the character’s backstories, but there’s also going to be a graphic novel (the art for McCree looks so badass!), and a series of animated shorts. you may check out a teaser for the first short below, coming later this month.
