Publisher Microids has released a near half-hour video of upcoming detective adventureBlacksad: Under the Skin, which launches on PC and consoles in the coming months.
Based on a Spanish comic-book of the same name,Blacksadis the gritty tale of the titular moggy, who works as a hard-boiled detective in an anthropomorphic imagining of 1950s New York. John Blacksad will investigate the disappearance of an all-star boxer, using his sharp feline senses to sniff out clues and leads, while conversing with a cast of shifty characters.
The description of the game is very much reminiscent of the Telltale Games formula, combing drama, dialogue choices, and QTE-based action sequences to tell its stories. You can see the game in action in the lengthy gameplay video below.
Blacksad: Under the Skinlaunches in Europe on PS4, PC and Xbox One November 14, before jumping to Nintendo Switch November 28. All console editions arrive in North America on December 10.
