If you have a PS3, PS4, or PS Vita, you’ll want to play this
The original design forHohokum, as shown this making-of video, doesn’t look very good at all. Thankfully, after a “long, strange, meandering journey,” developer Honeyslug settled on something that is truly great. It’s set for release on PS3, PS4, and PS Vita on July 22, 2025.
Ever since myfirst hands-onwithHohokumalmost exactly a year ago, I’ve been longing to play again and get lost in its world, uninterrupted. It’s one of those games where movement itself is a joy — it justfeelsright. The music and art are also great, but that goes without saying.
It’s wild to hear that work on the game, which began as a side project, started way back in 2008. Thank goodness it was given the necessary time to flourish.
