Not long ago, Nintendostarted offeringcutesy Kirby patches as Club Nintendo rewards. “Amazing,” many of us joyfully proclaimed. But little did we know that something wasn’t quite right. Take a look at the variation in the eyes above.
Reader mephistowaltz received a Kirby patch from Club Nintendo with what we’re going to call “stoned eyes.” Thinking it was a fluke, a replacement was ordered, and guess what? The second patch had the very same off-putting eyes. This takes the wholeKirby box art weirdnessto an all new high.
Has anyone else run into similar problems? Maybe there’s a bad batch of ’em. I have the exact patch in question from PAX and its eyes are normal.
