Scholars of the First Spoiler
Bandai Namco and From Software have released the opening cinematic ofDark Souls III.
Be warned, though, as it obviouslycontainsmassive spoilersfor both the story and, presumably, at least some of the bosses. They’re very cool looking bosses, as you’d expect from aSoulsgame, but they’re also huge spoilers to some and I’m sure peoplewill get angry at me if I say much more.
AfterDark SoulsandDark Souls IIfinally won me over last month after years of disliking them, I’m pretty excited for this one. The trailer shows and mentions some things that are very interesting for those familiar with the series’ lore, and I can’t wait to explore them in more detail!
I’m also seeing quite a lot ofBloodborneinfluence in some of the visual designs, so seeing how far that goes will also be cool.
Dark Souls IIIreleases for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on April 12.
