PAX East 2012 is this week! Can you believe it? As in years past, Dtoiders from around the world are converging on the mecca of geekdom in Boston for three days of gaming, booze and partying. And all because videogames!

Thursday night:
Rock Band Night / Scott Pilgrim vs The Worldparty!
Harmonix is kicking things off big withtheir little party at The Brattle. Starting at 6PM, you’re able to go watchScott Pilgrim vs The World, and then at 9PM join the Harmonix crew for someRock Bandaction. A combo ticket for both events will cost you $15 to enter; Rock Band Night alone is $7.
For those wanting to do something a little closer to the convention center can come join up with the Destructoid crew at MJ O’Connors Irish Pub starting at 8PM. The pub is located in the Westin Waterfront Hotel, right next the Boston Convention Center.
Friday night:
Today’s the day we meet up for the regular group photo! We’ll be meeting up at 425 Summer St, on the steps just outside of MJ O’Connors Bar at3:30PM!Be sure to wear a Destructoid shirt this day!
We’ve teamed upwith Namco Bandai’s Shifty Look forthe Namco Bandai Games Presents ShiftyLook X Destructoid Chicken and Waffles party! The party will be held in the Westin’s Commonwealth Ballroom on Friday,April 6 from 7PM to 9:30PM.
This party is open to all ages, so that means no alcohol. What you will get is fine Southern food, a chance to playRocket Foxon the iPad, and swag. There’s aFacebook event pageyou can take a look at, but note that RSVPing on the page won’t guarantee you access.
Jonathan Holmes, Max Scoville, Tony Ponce myself and a slew of other Destructoid personalities will be at the party, plus some folks from Namco Bandai as well! (Bonus: Dress up super-fancy for extra entertainment!)

Saturday night:
Elephant and Castle karaoke night of doom! A bunch of Dtoiders went here last year and the stories I heard were LEGENDARY. So we’re makingthis the official placeto be, starting at 9PM!
Sunday night:
Join us as wesay our goodbyesat the Atlantic Beer Gardens,just a few blocks awayfrom the convention center. Meetup is at 7PM!
