Now this is how you do it. Next week, Vigil Games is putting out a 90-minute demo for its recent action adventure gameDarksiders. That’s happening on February 25 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The demo isn’t timed or anything — Vigil believes it’ll take most gamers about that long to see the conclusion. All of Twilight Cathedral, the game’s first dungeon, will be playable, hence the demo’s unusually generous length.
It’s a shame more developers don’t give us much in the way of demos anymore. That said, I can totally see why they’d want — and almost have — to do something like this forDarksiders. As much as I love the game, I’ll readily admit that it’s a bit of a slow burn. This demo ought to do the game justice, though.
