A job listing reveals that DICE is currently working on bringing Mac OS X compatibility to its Frostbite game engine.
Thelisting callsfor a “Mac OS X Engineer” who will help the Frostbite team deliver” an engine as great on OS X as it is on Windows and traditional console platforms.” Last week, we learned that publisher Electronic Arts isworking on bringing its Origin service to Apple’s platform, with an Alpha version already released. The upcomingSimCitywill see a release on Mac as well, proving EA’s determination to delve into a new market.

The Frostbite Engine powers many of EA’s high-profiled games, including theBattlefieldseries, the upcomingArmy of Two: The Devil’s Cartel, and the free-to-playCommand & Conquer.
