Disney Dreamlight Valley’sMysteries of Skull Rock update introduced Peter Pan, an interior for Skull Rock, and a continuation of The Forgotten’s storyline that includes renaming them. The community was quick to pick up on the limitless potential for this name, testing the limits of this feature using cuss words.

After completingDisney Dreamlight Valley’smain storyline, including The Forgotten’s portion of it, you eventually unlock the “A Forgotten Name” quest. By the end of this mission, you decide to give The Forgotten a name with a few default options available and a custom naming feature if you’re feeling creative. You can even change it later if you think of something new in the future.

It turns out that there is no profanity filter with The Forgotten’s naming feature, allowing you to pick any option you want. SomeDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayers have taken this a step further, with one of the earliest examples revealed on Reddit during the update’s launch. The post reveals that, yes, you can call The Forgotten a particular six-letter word that starts with “F” and ends in “R.”

Viewer discretion is advised if you decide to look into this further.

It works, too. I tested this with a few colorful words off the top of my head, and every single one worked without any in-game warnings, filters, or censoring. As long as it’s between two and 20 characters, you can name The Forgotten anything you want, including curse words if you want a chuckle. I did end up changing it back to my original name immediately after, but it was still an unexpected yet strangely funny discovery.

At the time of writing, Gameloft has made no mention of adding any filtering systems to The Forgotten’s naming mechanic. It’s also not listed onDisney Dreamlight Valley’sIssue Tracker board, suggesting that it’s either not a known bug yet or isn’t considered a problem.

Disney Dreamlight Valley’sMysteries of Skull Rock update is available as of June 18. As long as you’ve updated the game and its storyline, you’re free to experiment with The Forgotten’s name to make it as cute, edgy, or explicit as you wish. You’ll still need to be careful about sharing the name in places that ban profanity, but if you want to get a laugh out of your friends or other community members, this is a great way to do it. You may need to enable extra filters if you’re browsingDDVsocial media pages and forums and don’t wish to see these names.
