It looks as if LG isn’t the only electronics providergetting chummy with Gaikaias Samsung announced today that some of their TVs will also incorporate cloud gaming.The Samsung LED 7000 series and up will all allow owners to stream games directly to their televisions.
Not much about the game selection was mentioned other than to say that AAA and family-friendly titles would be available, though if Samsung owners have access to the Gaikai cloud, it would stand to reasonall games open to Gaikai userswould also be open to people with Smart TVs.
As of yet there are very few details about how this partnership will work, but sign-ups for beta testing of the product should open soon, so maybe we’ll find out more about this then.
