With every patch toFinal Fantasy XIV,new resources and materials are added to the already staggeringly long list of available crafting materials. Along with the new items, new gathering nodes are also introduced for players to find.
Patch 7.2 is no exception to this long-standing rule, and six new materials have been added at new nodes for Botanists and Miners to gather. These new materials are then used to craft the new level 740 crafted gear, the Ceremonial sets. Whether you want to simply sell the materials for a quick profit or you want to craft some gear for your Jobs, these materials are well worth hunting down.
To save you from wandering around and wasting time, here are all of the new gathering nodes added toFFXIVin patch 7.2.

If you want to find these nodes and harvest them for their materials, you’ll need to be patient. All of the following nodes are timed. You will need to purchase the following Tomes of Regional Folklore from the Scrip Exchange, costing 1,600Purple Gatherers’ Scripseach, before you can gather all of the new 7.2 resources:

Once you’ve located one of the above resources for the first time, you can open up the Gathering Log and search for them to be shown on a map where they spawn.

If you’re wanting to farm these resources for whatever reason, you’re able to create a plan to visit all of the nodes in order, cutting down on time spent wasted as you wait for things to spawn. Each node will be active until you’ve harvested the resources for two hours, allowing ample traveling time between nodes.
