Star Wars Outlawsis the next big entry into the wide world ofStar Warsgames, and creative director Julian Gerighty has revealed how long it will take for you to finish the story, and how long completionists will need to spend to find and unlock every single item.
Outlawsis the first open-worldStar Warsgame set between the events ofThe Empire Strikes BackandReturn of the Jedi. You won’t be controlling a Jedi though, as instead, you’ll be playing as Kay Vess, a criminal looking to start a new life in the galaxy away from the murky world of delinquent gangs and syndicates.
How long isStar Wars Outlaws’ campaign?
In an interview withVGC, Gerighty stated: “Very, very early on, we decided thatthis is going to be a 25, 30 hours golden path adventure. It’s not an Assassin’s Creed epic, 200 hours worth of gameplay, so that allows us to really focus on the detail, it allows us to focus, maybe with a smaller team, on executing something that is manageable.”
So, straight from the horse’s mouth, it’ll take around a day to finish the story, depending on your difficulty.

In the same interview, Gerighty suggested that if you want to 100% completeStar Wars Outlaws, achieve every trophy and unlock everything possible in the game, it’ll take between 50 and 60 hours, which he said was still a “fair amount of time,” especially for “a guy with a family and a job.”
