Nuclear Nightmarecan feel pretty harsh in certain situations, and death can come from unexpected sources. Still, there’s a respawn system in place which will allow you to get a fresh chance at reviving yourself and continue your journey.

It might be the fact that the survival title is in early access, but Nuclear Nightmare doesn’t appear to explain the respawn system clearly. There’s a guide in place, but many players seem to be puzzled about how to revive themselves in case they have died. Let’s look at how you can respawn and what the best use of the system is.

Nuclear Nightmare respawn system explained

Respawning inNuclear Nightmare, as mentioned above, isn’t an entirely straight process. I couldn’t find a clear explainer as well, but once understood, it’s pretty easy to respawn. There are a couple of prerequisites—the first is more important as the second one becomes irrelevant otherwise.

Once you have got these two tasks done, you’ll get 10 Reinforcement Tokens at the beginning of your run. However, the number of tokens you’ll have will depend largely on the difficulty of your missions.

Here are the requirements as per the different difficulty levels.

That’s not all, as you’ll require a laptop. This device will be used to call the reinforcements, and there is another restriction. You can respawn any of your squad members after they have died, but not if they were infected and converted into a monster.

It’s expected that the respawn mechanic could undergo a few changes in the near future. The developers have already confirmed it, but there’s been no mention about how the new system will be. I believe that the respawn conditions will be reduced to make it easier for players to revive their fallen teammates.
