If you’re eager to kindle a spark with Hodari, there are a few requirements you need to fulfill. Here’s how to meet the requirements and romance Hodari inPalia.
How to romance Hodari in Palia
Like any other romanceable character inPalia, increasing your Friendship Level with Hodari is the key to unlocking the path to romance. Before you can start showering him with romantic gifts, you must first reachFriendship Level 3with Hodari. Building a strong bond with Hodari requires dedication and effort. Interact with him daily, engaging in conversations and fulfilling his wants and needs. By doing so, you will gradually increase your Friendship Level to the desired threshold.
In addition to becoming friends with Hodari, you must also establish a bond with his daughter,Najuma. Strengthening your Friendship Level with Najuma is equally crucial in your pursuit of romance with Hodari. To unlock the romance option with Hodari, you must achieve a Friendship Level of 4 with Najuma and complete her quest titled “Survivor’s Guilt.” This quest, initiated by Hodari himself, underscores the importance he places on his relationship with his daughter.
To progress further in your romantic endeavor, you must also complete the main story quest titled “Echoes of the Unknown.” This quest takes you through the mesmerizing Temple of Waves, ultimately unlocking the Vault of Waves. While you don’t have to finish the vault itself, completing the main quest is essential.
Once you have met the Friendship Level requirements, you’re able to finally bestow Hodari with a romantic gift of your choice. The two options available to you are theBox of Chocolatesand theHeartdrop Lily. You can obtain the Box of Chocolates from Zeki’s General Store as a reward for completing the “Fishing for Answers” quest. On the other hand, you can find the elusive Heartdrop Lily in the serene mountains of Bahari Bay. Choose the gift that resonates with your romantic sensibilities and present it to Hodari.
Upon gifting Hodari, the Romance option will unlock, leading you to embark on the “Something New” quest. Complete this quest to increase your romance with Hodari. As you progress through the questline, you will receive Hodari’s Pin and reach Romance Level 1 with him.
