The gravitational pull for kids to Kinect grows stronger with this newly announced line-up of games and interactive software for Xbox 360. Sesame Workshop, Nat Geo WILD and Disney are working with Microsoft for these new games for children.
Kinect Sesame Street TVfeatures interactive versions of shows from the current television season as well as new content written and filmed just for Kinect. Sesame Workshp also has another title on the way, code named Project Columbia. All we know now is that it will use Kinect to bring story books to life.

Kinect Nat Geo TVwill let kids explore the wild with full body motion and voice recognition. Both will serve as a new form of interactive television.
Disney’s upcoming project is still under wraps. It iscodenamed “Rush,”and it sounds amazing so far, as it lets kids scan themselves into popular Pixar films.

Tim Shafer and Double Fine Productions Inc are bringing kidsDouble Fine Happy Action Theater. This XBLA title is a collection of 18 experiences that let kids interact with the screen.
The takeaway? If you have kids, you’re going to have to get a Kinect.
