That’s becauseManos: The Hands of Fatefor iOS (and hopefully Android and XBLA) looks like your average, forgettable, “retro inspired” 2D platformer, with gold coind collecting, disappearing platforms, constant attacks from random monsters and giant, crane-necked bosses. There is even a shoot’em up stage complete with biplanes. Absolutely nothing about the game looks original… except Torgo.
Oh wait, there’s Torgo. Looking good too. They totally nailedhis swollen knees and jittery shamble. Great job on the shamble, guys. I am willing to pay top dollar for that shamble.
