InADK, players pick from one of a selection of dull characters and do battle in a series of arena-based fisticuffs. Players can move in and out of the screen, rather then just left and right on a standard 2D plane, and also utilise nearby weaponry to gain victory over the opposition. All of this counts for very little asADKis garbage, then and now.

With forgettable characters, poor music and clunky controls,ADKdied hard in an era ofMortal Kombat II, Virtua FighterandSuper Street Fighter II Turbo. Fortunately, SNK would also begin theirKing of Fightersseries in the same year, and off to the races they went. For completionists and curio sake only,Aggressors of Dark Kombatis available today on PS4 in Japan and Xbox One and Nintendo Switch worldwide, priced at around $8.
