The first set of official information surroundingNBA 2K25‘s release is now live, with NBA 2K revealing the cover stars of this year.

Celtics’ star Jayson Tatum will don the cover of this year’s game, along with WNBA superstar A’ja Wilson. The Hall of Fame edition will have Vince Carter doing the honors this time. NBA 2K25 release date

Typically, a new NBA 2K game has released between September 8 and 10. This year, NBA 2K is slightly pushing the schedule by choosing September 6 as the release date. Hence, the community will be able to play the new release in the first week of September.

NBA 2K25is going to be available in four different editions:

Standard will be cheapest one of the four, while the Hall of Fame is the more premium experience fans can enjoy.

There will be slight changes when it comes to platforms. First, here are all the listed platforms:
