FINISH HIM, where HIM = The Game
You’d think that touch screen controls and fighting game inputs wouldn’t go together well, but somehow NeatherRealm Studios managed to pull off multiple fighting games on mobile devices. While they are basically heavily compromised versions of their console counterparts,WWE Immortalsis actually a fairly original take on tag battles with outlandish approximations of WWE superstars. What more could you ask for?
More characters? Well, ask and you shall receive. To commemorate the 25th anniversary ofMortal Kombat, Klassic Scorpion will be heading toInjustice, Xavier Woods will be getting a Raiden costume inWWE Immortals, Raiden will be heading toInjustice 2and Shao Khan will be heading toMortal Kombat Xalongside two versions of Goro (Klassic and Tigar Fury). That may not be a large amount of characters, but having Scorpion in more games is never a problem. Also, Xavier Woods looks pretty bad ass as Raiden.

I’ve yet to try any of NetherRealm’s mobile offerings, but I did enjoy what Capcom did withStreet Fighter IVon mobile. Who would have thought that boiling down a fighting game to its bare essence could help with translating it to a different device?
