You really should try to the Pikmin 3 demo
Tucked away in Nintendo’s recentinvestor Q&A, senior managing director Shigeru Miyamoto commented on what’s ahead for the “unique joy” that is thePikminseries.
This week, the company released three animated short films based on the property and a demo forPikmin 3. Miyamoto describes these campaigns as a way to “lay the groundwork for the next iteration ofPikminin the future. And needless to say, we want it to be one of the motivations for potential consumers to purchase Wii U. We are making a variety of different efforts.”

After three games, I haven’t even begun to grow tired of the world, characters, and gameplay ofPikmin. Another entry — preferably one with the ambition ofPikmin 2, but I’ll take what I can get — would be a dream come true. Miyamoto clearly loves the series. It’s one of my favorites, too.
