After weeks of leaks, Bethesda and Virtuos have finally dropped the ball by accidentally revealingThe Elder Scross IV: Oblivion Remasteredthemselves, with a reveal likely set to take place sometime next week.

The leak comes from the Virtuos website, which includes images such as the key art, screenshots, and other promotional art for the game showing the differences between the original game 20 years ago and the remastered content. And it honestly looks beautiful.

By looking at the images provided on the website, it appears as thoughOblivion Remasteredwill feature a visual overhaul as well as mechanical changes to the game to make it easier to play from its original clunky controls. However, we will need to wait and see an official reveal before knowing exactly what will be different between the two versions.

One thing is for sure, though: the updates—especially when put side by side with one another—are pretty stunning. It’s hard not to get excited to see what the world of Oblivion Remastered looks like—so long as it comes out when expected. We have to preface that there is still the possibility of these leaks being false and to wait for an official announcement before getting hyped about what we are seeing.

For now, though, we await information from Xbox or Bethesda about this title and pray it appears on Game Pass so we can all jump into it on day one. Oblivion has never looked more stunning in this remaster, and it gives us an excuse to jump in and take on Mehrunes Dagon all over again. Who knows, maybe we will see all the DLC be included in the base package too—Horse Armor, anyone?
