Representatives from Psyonix Studios, the developer responsible for PlayStation Network downloadable titleSupersonic Acrobatic Rocket Power Battle-Cars(SARPBCLOLBBQ, for short) leaked information for Sony’s nextsystemfirmware update on their message boards. Among the comments was a release window for “later this month,” which may get you revved considering the rumored might (included after the break) of the update.
Responding to a post about a PSN sign-out bug, one repwrote, “Sony mentioned a bug they fixed with the next system software update (2.7.0) that might resolve these issues, but we have to narrow it down and verify it’s the same problem to be sure it’s that and not something we need to fix on our end.”

Another rep dropped possible release information, although it’s questionable how amusing patches are: “IIRC [If I recall correctly] it will drop later this month. And contain lots of fun new fixes. I’m excited about this one, lots of new stuff.”
The latter comment has since been wiped, but its digital memory will remain with us forever. May it rest in peace, and may we all celebrate the scandalous information conveyed to us before meeting its untimely doom.
