Project Diva f gives the Vita a big boost

ThePlayStation Vitareceived a shot in the arm over in its homeland this week, thanks to everybody’s favorite green-haired girl-thing.Hatsune Miku Project Diva fdebuted for the handheld this week, causing the Vita to stop the chart with50,070 units sold.

The 3DS XL came in second with44,951, followed by the 3DS at29,342. PS3 followed with12,433, then the PSP at10,266.

Unsurprisingly,Project Divaalso topped the software charts with159,592 retail sales.

While this doesn’t mean the PS Vita is on easy street, it’s further evidence that big games sell systems. That’s evidencewedon’t need … but it seems Sony could do with the advice.
