You can still play if you own it, but it’s not for sale right now
You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone, and this week our dear old friendRollerCoaster Tycoon 3is missing. The theme park management sim is unexpectedly no longer available for purchase on PC.
The game still has a landing page onSteam, but the store listing onGOG.comhas straight vanished. It could be a while before it resurfaces on digital storefronts, too. As first reported byTMZ,RollerCoaster Tycoon 3developer Frontier is currently suing publisher Atari over a years-old royalty dispute.

Just the other day, I went down an existential train of thought about what my Steam library — or any long-running digital platform — might look like decades from now. It was an unpleasant experience, to put it mildly. And it only grows more unpleasant as my list of games becomes more bloated.
