First, the company showed off trailers for the previously announcedGod and Master GundamDLC forGundam Versus, while confirming that they would be releasing on January 23. In addition, the previously announcedGundam Pixie and Efreetwere confirmed for January 30 and February 6 respectively. Without skipping a beat, the company announced more DLC as well. TheFarsiafromGundam AGEwill arrive on the same day as the Pixie, whileBuild Strike Gundam Full PackagefromGundam Build Fighterswill arrive on the same day as the Efreet. The stream also confirmed that on January 23, a bundle of 16 songs from the premium edition of the game would be available for purchase, although no confirmation of if it will be available outside of Japan at this time.

Next, was the teased port. It was announced thatSD Gundam G Generation Genesiswould be heading to the Nintendo Switch. This version of the 2016 title would contain all the DLC of the original, such as theThunderboltunit pack andHathaway’s Flashstory content. The announcement was somewhat expected, as whileGundamhad abandoned the Wii U, it still had a presence on the 3DS, so coming to the next hot Nintendo console was a no-brainer. It’s important to note the original game had a English release in Asia, so there is a chance the Switch version may also have the same treatment. The definitive port will release in Japan on April 26, for a lower price point of 6,800 Yen.

Finally, the new game announcement turned out to beNew Gundam Breaker. While details were scarce, it was confirmed to be a PlayStation 4 only release, despite the previous entry releasing on the Vita. I’m somewhat surprised it’s not coming to Switch, due to running on Unreal Engine 4 and reusing Vita assets would make it easier to port. Oh well, if that’s the developers choice, then that’s how the cookie crumbles.

However there is a bigger piece of news that wasn’t contained to the stream, that you could probably tell by the trailer.New Gundam Breakerwill be receiving an international release, and it will be coming in 2018. We’ll be learning more about the game on January 28, and it may give us an idea of when the game will come out. It’s nice to know thatVersusdid well enough that more titles are coming worldwide.
