Remember whenwe told youthat American rocker Jon Bon Jovi would have his music in Japanese commercials for Square Enix’sFinal Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers.  Well, it’s one thing to know that, but it’s another thing to actually see it in action.

It’s pretty damned weird. Just like in any other Japanese commercial that features popular music, the name of the artist pops up on screen. But instead of being the Japanese names I’m used to, it says “Bon Jovi.”

Watch on as Bon Jovi music accompanies Wii videogame footage. Only in Japan, right? It’s actually a promotion for his music, an upcoming single named “We Weren’t Born to Follow.”
