‘Squidward was not invited’ – cold!
Nintendo has announced a new Splatfest forSplatoon, alongside of the newest weapon update — SpongeBob vs. Patrick. In an odd twist of all sorts of marketing loopholes, the developers pit the two best friends against one other, and apparently, “Squidward was not invited.” That’s cold as ice, man.
The actual event will run on April 23 at 6AM PT until April 24 at 12PM PT. Oh, and “this is the “first Splatfest in which players from North America and Europe can be matched together.”
I haven’t played most of these as the appeal generally wore off a while ago for me, but I know people enjoy them, so it’s great that these still exist.
