Dive In no more

Dive In, dead? Dive Inisdead.

Late last year Square Enixlaunched Dive In in Japan, a service that streams games (likeFinal Fantasy XIII‘s 1-3,Murdered: Soul Suspect) to Android and Apple mobile devices. There were all sorts of purchase plans, including one year subscriptions to access individual titles.

Well, the service did not even last one year. Thankfully, anyone who paid for one year access to any game will be getting a full refund as the service shuts down September 13, just in time for the Tokyo Game Show.
