Which leaves me wondering: what’s next? FFVII Remake?

It didn’t take long at all for a wild exclusive to show up in this morning’s rockyEpic Games Store Spring Showcase stream.Kingdom Hearts– as in, the series – is showing up on PC this year.

On March 30, the Epic Store is gettingKingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX,Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue,Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind, andKingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory.

I’m not sure why I’m the least bitsurprised by the steep pricing, but I am. With the exception ofKingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, which will cost $50, everything listed above will be $60 on PC at launch.

That’s a mega-tough pitch for people who are open to playing the series on PS4, where you can go all-in (minus theMelody of Memoryrhythm game) for $25 right nowwhile the compilation is on sale. At any rate, it’s nice to see the door finally open for PC players. It’s been a long and futile-feeling wait.

See you in a year? There’s no guarantee the series will come to Steam, but discounts would be nice.
