Having to crack your hard drive open for 50GB games and 50GB patches (helloFallout 76) sucks. But every so often you’re gifted a reasonable file size, and that’s what Capcom is seemingly doing with the upcomingResident Evil 2remake.
Set to launch at the end of January,Resident Evil 2will run you 21.05GB according to an official listing on the Microsoft Store. By comparison,Resident Evil 7was 20.21GB at launch and basically the same size (20.7GB) as the PS4 edition.
After all this time it feels weird that it’s nearly here. And of course I don’t mean the relatively short wait from when it was announced: but rather, the long wait since it was hinted at years back. Knowing that I won’t have to completely destroy my HDD to get it going is the icing on top.
