Now don’t get too excited. This is something you’ll want to bookmark rather than rush over to, as the site currently serves as a portal toMissing LinkandIV, with the trailers for each in tow. At the moment that trailer is the only thing present on theKingdom Hearts IVwebsite. Of course, this is also the place to keep an eye on and mine for info as it’s updated.
The main thing I want to know as soon as possible is any insight into the Disney element of the game. While info is slim and Square Enix could go full Squaresoft/Square Enix with its worlds, the presence of Goofy and Donald confirmed at the end of the inaugural trailer does provide soft confirmation that the Disney universe is still a factor.
One incredibly obvious pick isEncanto. The aesthetics would suit this universe, and I’m itching to hear a chill instrumental background music version of “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.” Similarly,Cocowould be a fantastic opportunity to really flesh out the Land of the Dead environment.
Also,Moanaanyone? Imagine a sailing minigame akin toZelda: Wind Waker. There are so many Disney worlds left on the table, and I hopeKingdom Hearts IVcapitalizes on them.
