One of the more notable visual aspects of Obsidian’s new gameAvowedis its lush landscapes. Much of the Living Lands is replete with forested regions, plant life, and that fungal growth that totally doesn’t remind me ofThe last of Us(spoiler: it totally does).

And it’s this aesthetic that we’re definitely getting with this custom Xbox Series X that takes its look directly fromAvowed. In a recent post on X, Marketing Lead for Xbox, Bailey Kosdal, has showcased a pretty spectacular design of the console, which was put together by artist and designer Vadu Amka (seriously, check out some of theirother projects).

An Avowed-themed Xbox Series X, showing the console covered in vegetation, with greenery behind it.

Kosdal says the custom Xbox is to celebrate the game being released in the Benelux region, which is the part of Western Europe that incorporates Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg (hence the name). As for whether you’ll be able to get your hands on this pretty fabulous-looking console, it remains to be seen at this stage, but the post does say to keep an eye on the Dutch channels “for a possible giveaway.”

While we’re at it, anAvowed-inspired PC as well

It’s pretty obvious that the most striking thing about this particular Xbox Series X is how it encapsulates the flora ofAvowed. And Amka is not the only one who’s celebrating the game’s release with a gaming machine that incorporates Eora’s natural splendor.

In another post by Kosdal, someone else has put together a custom PC that magnificently disguises itself as a series of moss, leaves, and twisted vines. You can check it outhere. Behold, for ’tis splendiferous! This one has been designed by computer builderTim Malmborgfrom Sweden.

There is evidently something striking aboutAvowed‘s world that’s inspired these two to capture that lush essence in hardware form. Hopefully, there’ll be a chance to win the Xbox at some point, but I suspect this won’t be the end of consoles and PCs that take cues from Obsidian’s latest RPG.
