Titmouse, the animation studio behindMetalocalypseand partners onThe Legend of Vox Machina, has announced that they are launching a Backerkit campaign to create their own tabletop roleplaying game.

Drunkards, Druggies & Delinquentsis a little different from the usual dice-throwing fare. Players will experience typical tabletop tropes, adventuring as wizards and fighters to take on demons and monsters like Meat Man. However, the game also encourages players to drink and consume as they take damage or complete quests and adventures.

As Titmouse themselves say on their Backerkit page, “the game is suited to players with a thirst for glory… and beer!” Thecampaign will launch on October 8with fulfilment expected by Spring 2025, when the production company celebrates its 25thanniversary. Although there’s no sign of a crowdfunding target yet, there has been some news of bonuses and add-ons for backers.

For starters, the team will launch artwork and designs throughout the campaign, giving the community a chance to vote for their favorites and shaping the look of the game. Additional bonus content will be handed to those who get involved in the crowdfunding, too, and players who back the campaign within the first 48 hours will get a free mystery drink koozie.

In the game, players work together to try and save a village from marauding monsters, but they start out as heroes more accustomed to drinking than battling. It has a feel ofVox Machinaabout it, which is not surprising considering Titmouse partnered with Critical Role and Amazon MGM Studios to produceThe Legend of Vox Machina for Amazon Prime Video.

Titmouse isn’t known for its tabletop games production, but it does have a firm spot in geek culture already. In addition to their work on Vox Machina, Titmouse has also worked onStar Trek: Lower Decks,The Boys Presents: Diabolical, andStar Wars: Galaxy of Adventures. Formed in 1999, Titmouse was originally made up of former MTV Cartoon Network creatives, although it has since expanded to include a sister studio in New York.
