Welp, I’m sold
Blizzard is transplanting Tracer fromOverwatchtoHeroes of the Stormsoon and after watching this video summing up her play style and abilities, I have a pile of gold with her name on it.
She’s a rapid-fire ranged assassin who can attack while moving, blink short distances to get in or out of trouble, perform a single-target melee strike, and “bound backward” a few seconds in time to clear up”almost all” negative effects. Tracer only has a single Heroic ability, Pulse Bomb, but it’s available at level one and can then be enhanced in a few different ways at level ten.
Based on this footage, I think she’ll be an utter pest in the right hands, but will otherwise be super fragile. Those of you withOverwatch: Origins Editionpre-ordered can play as her beginning April 19, while the rest of us will have to wait until April 26 before she becomes available.
