As part of the Triple-i Showcase stream, Poncle has announced that their mega-hit move-’em-upVampire Survivorswill be crossing over with Konami’s classic run-and-gunContra. Vampire Survivors: Operation Gunsis releasing all current platforms on May 9th, with the PlayStation version arriving this Summer.

Vampire Survivors: Operation Gunswill supposedly encourage “min-maxing and stat manipulation” and will add a tonne of weapons, which is more specifically 20 including evolutions. Brad Fang fromContra: Hard Corpswill be there. That’s pretty cool. It doesn’t mention any new levels, but having the game become moreContra-flavoredshould be enough. It’s always nice to see Konami getting mixed in with a few stews after it spent decades burning all its goodwill.
