Warzone‘s Season 4 Reloaded update is here, introducing the new Reclaimer 18 weapon, bringing a major nerf to the Kar98k, and adding new Mutation modes for the battle royale. Check out the full patch notes below.

As always, the Reloaded update is an enhancement to the current season, introducing some new tweaks and additional content. While they generally don’t make sweeping changes to the game, these patch notes are big, but I’ll break down the headlines for you before revealing the full patch notes.

Kar98k nerfed

For many, the news that the Kar98k has been nerfed will be the headline, as the sniper rifle has beendivisive throughout the communitysince its launch. Some have praised it for making sniping fun again, while others have been convinced that it’stoo powerful and was ruining the meta.

The devs seem to agree with the latter, making three changes to the gun:

This means the gun is now less powerful, something which should please many.

Reclaimer 18 and Sledgehammer melee weapon

There are two new weapons in Season 4 Reloaded: A Sledgehammer that you may swing at your enemies, and the Reclaimer 18 shotgun, whichCoDfans may recognize as the Spas-12.

The Spas-12 is in the Classified Sector of the Battle Pass, while you’ll need to complete weekly challenges to get your hands on the big hammer.

Warzone’s Popov Power POI

Mutation Modes

The Popov Power POI has been destroyed, and mutations from the toxic chemicals are scattered throughout the location. Drop in and take advantage of their special abilities, such as mutant vision and toxic clouds that deal damage to your enemies, in this Resurgence and Buy Back Quads mode.
