Ubisoft Forward has officially confirmed the new content update forXDefiant’sSeason 1. And fortunately, the wait won’t be too long with its July 23, 2025 release.
The trailer revealed all of theXDefiantupdates in the pipeline, including the highly anticipatednew Faction, GSK. What the latest group will entail is still a mystery, but I can’t wait to try it out to see what other unique tactics will be available. In addition to a Faction expansion, we also got a look at three free Eruption weapon skins. These shiny, new gems will undoubtedly spice up your weaponry, but you’ll need to play the game in the next 48 hours to get them.

New mapsare expected to arrive per month, and we have already gotten the inside scoop into three of them. Specifically,XDefiantwill offer Clubhouse, Daytona, and Rockefeller. If you’re a racing fan, you’ll undoubtedly know all about Daytona. The other maps will also bring about plenty of shenanigans, especially if they are on a much smaller scale in terms of size.
Maps aren’t the only thing to look forward to with the upcoming release of the new game mode, Capture the Flag. Every shooter game veteran will certainly enjoy this one, including the new ranked progression rewards that are expected to come for Season 1.
