ThroughoutZelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Tri is your best friend. It’s thanks to them that we can summon Echoes and Bind ourselves to objects, so it goes without saying that we’d be pretty lost without them.
Rather than increasing our own level inEoW, we work towards leveling up Tri. With each level increase, Tri gets an upgrade, which allows us to do more, summon more, and just be better in future battles.
Tri gains levels through finding their friends, who are trapped within the Rifts. Large main story Rifts provide a whole level increase each, while smaller sidequest or other Rifts provide a portion of a level each.

Tri can reach a maximum of level 11, at which point they will have six triangles. Before that point, each upgrade provides its own perks, as listed below:
